Monthly Reflection
Insights and thoughts from this month's journey.
This Month's Focus
January has been about establishing systems and getting back into consistent habits around reading, fitness, and skill development. The biggest challenge has been balancing ambitious goals with sustainable progress.
Goal Progress
Making steady progress across all three major goals for the year. The AI coding tools goal is ahead of schedule thanks to intensive learning during the holidays. Reading is behind pace but I'm confident the morning routine will help catch up.
Key Insights
- Consistency beats intensity - Smaller daily actions compound faster than sporadic bursts of activity
- AI coding tools are transformative - They genuinely revolutionize productivity and development speed
- Morning routines are essential - Critical for maintaining progress on personal goals
What's Next
February will focus on solidifying the morning reading routine and making meaningful progress on the side income goal. The foundation is set, now it's about execution.
